Justin C. Snapp, Co-founder & Principal
Justin began his career with Woodbury Financial Services in 2001, and over the past 12 years has been involved in multiple positions with MetLife Insurance Company and The Marketing Alliance, Inc; involving every aspect of the sales cycle. His background includes positions as a producer and sales manager, as well as internal and external wholesale positions with an insurance carrier home. Additionally, he has spent 6 years of specific Independent Brokerage experience in recruiting and business development giving him a unique understanding of the industry, as well as what it takes to be successful in this business.
A dynamic insurance & financial services sales professional with management experience, Justin has proven to be a business leader with strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills and extensive experience in prospecting, securing and cultivating meaningful and successful B2B and B2C opportunities. Justin has an excellent track record of developing and implementing strategies resulting in new market segments to increase sales and extend market share.
Justin is an active member of the St. Louis Chapter of NAIFA where he was recently nominated to their Board of Directors. He is also very involved in his community. Justin also serves as a member of the NAIFA Membership Committee and is the Chair of the Young Advisor Team (YAT) as well as being involved with the Young Professionals Group at Life Skills, a non-profit organization that is committed to helping individuals with developmental disabilities -- including autism -- learn, live, work and participate in the community. Justin graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons, ages 4 and 2.
DebBie A. Kohlenberger, Business Development manager
Debbie joined Innovative Brokerage Network in May of 2014 as the Business Development Manager. Prior to IBN, she spent over 10 years in the insurance industry beginning her career in the home office of General American/MetLife in 1997. Since then, she has held multiple positions with independent general agencies & The Marketing Alliance, an independent marketing organization.
Prior roles of managing an inbound policyholder call center as well as the coordination and execution of outbound marketing efforts to service MetLife orphaned policyholders is among the experience that Debbie brings. Heading up the Competition Desk at The Marketing Alliance, Debbie was responsible for case design and on-site agency training. A common thread between each role has been Debbie’s dedication to the agent, agency & client.
In the role of Business Development Manager, Debbie works to assist IBN partners in the distribution of life insurance, annuities, LTC insurance and DI with dedication to their success and growth. Debbie strives to bring new ideas to the team with an emphasis on building long term relationships with our partners in order to continue to thrive and grow.
Debbie enjoys photography, motorcycle riding with her husband and spending time with family and friends.
RJ Breen, III, relationship manager
RJ joined Innovative Brokerage Network as a Business Development Associate. Recently new to the business, RJ is far from inexperienced. For over 10 years RJ has been involved in business-to business sales as a sales manager and expanded traditional markets into emerging and revenue positive profit centers.
RJ strives to provide his producers and independent agencies with unparalleled services by taking a relationship-based approach to sales. Taking the time to get to know his clients on an individual basis, RJ works to develop lasting relationships and create personalized sales strategies with the needs-based solution for producers to offer their clients.
An avid outdoorsman, RJ enjoys spending time hunting, fishing and camping. As a lifelong St. Louisian, RJ is an avid Cardinal & Blues fan. RJ has one brother who he is proud to say is an EOD Technician in the Army.
Tim Blucker, relationship manager
With over 16 years experience in financial services, Tim is well known for his time helping agents and advisors across the country grow their business during his time with Phoenix Life and Sun Life of Canada. Hehas equal experience in personal production as well as wholesaling which gives him a unique perspective on what it means to be a great partner to his agents.
Tim is set apart by his passion for helping people. Whether leading a group devoted to feeding the homeless in ST. Louis, coaching a baseball or softball team, hosting a neighborhood BBQ, or serving his agents, Tim’s devotion to making those around him better is clear through his actions. He truly cares about putting his agents in the best position to help people.
A graduate of the University of Missouri, Tim resides in Wildwood, Missouri with his wife Michelle and their 4 children. In his free time, he enjoys sports, hunting, canoeing, camping, and being a father. Tim works hard every day so he can have fun on the weekends and vacation with his family.
Jacob Hilton, RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Jacob has 4+ years of finely tuned insurance industry experience. With his initial sights set on attending law school, Jacob's father, a lawyer of 30+ years, advised him against it, due to oversaturation in that industry. He instead found his calling working with the senior market.
Focusing solely on Medicare beneficiaries as an insurance broker for a large agency in St. Louis, Jacob became extremely familiar with all of the Medicare carriers and products that were available. He later decided to diversify his offerings and added some Final Expense carriers. Later, he again expanded his knowledge of Universal Life and Annuities.
Upon realizing that he wanted to offer more to his clients, Jacob and a colleague started their own agency - choosing Innovative Brokerage Network to be their IMO. This is s true testament to Jacob's belief in IBN's quality service.
Today, Jacob's key focus at IBN is helping agents to grow their businesses. He works with agents to increase their income by adding more products to their lineup, so that they can truly offer their clients a full spectrum of planning. He also helps agents on the processing end, so that they can focus more on running their businesses.
Jacob excels at working with independent agents and agencies by creating personalized sales strategies through a relationship-focused approach in order to succeed, grow, and surpass long-term goals and expectations for every insurance advisor.
As a native St. Louisian, when Jacob isn't assisting agents, he enjoys cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals baseball and the St. Louis Blues hockey teams.
Kathy Zoeller, Administration
Kathy is a seasoned insurance industry professional, who began her career 39 years ago in the home office of General American / MetLife. She has held a number of different roles, including positions in underwriting, special projects, new business, and case management.
In addition, Kathy also spent six years working for a large insurance marketing organization, where she assisted agents with illustrations and helped them in determining which carrier would best serve their clients' needs.
Today, Kathy's primary focus at Innovative Brokerage Network is ensuring that all contracting and licensing is in place. She also processes applications and provides weekly status to agents on their cases.
Kathy's vast experience on the new business side helps her to see cases through from submission throughout the entire process, and to assist agents wherever or whenever an issue may come up.
A native of St. Louis / Illinois, Kathy is a St. Louis Cardinals fan. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling - especially to Las Vegas and Biloxi.
